Letter from the Editor

Hello everyone and welcome to the July 2020 Image Perspective of AICIWEST! This is my very first communication as the editor of this E-Zine. Being elected as VP Communication of AICI WEST is one of the most exciting things that happened to me during the first half of year 2020. It’s such an honor to be here and to be working with a team of talented and dedicated image professionals to serve everyone in the community.
Thinking back to the time when I just became an image consultant and a member of AICI, I was pretty clueless whom I’d know, what I could do and where I would go from here. Luckily, I met WEST Chapter. Soon, I had known people here of the same profession, interest, and we supported each other and laughed together. I have learned industry information, trends, and improved professional knowledge and skills. I gained a sense of belonging, participation, giving and being given. Many of you may feel the same way when first coming into the community, but please remember, your voice will always be heard, your reaching out, participation and contribution will always be appreciated, and will bring a fruitful result.
